The Channel Manager develops, implements, and maintains a marketing program that targets specific channels to promote Simply NUC services and products. This role includes onboarding new channel partners, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with these partners, and creating marketing and training plans for these partners. Success in this role is measured by Simply NUC’s revenue growth via these channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: • Meet and align with senior staff members to identify and maintain a list of key channel partners • Regular engagement with key channel partners via email, on-line meetings, and occasional visits • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key partners in both sales and presales. • Create channel partner sales and marketing plans to increase marketing and selling efforts • Resolve partner-related sales issues quickly and effectively, ensuring customer and partner satisfaction • Work with marketing team to form marketing plans with key channel partners including product strategies, digital marketing, social media, and support for events • Work with marketing team to coordinate and deliver regular training to sales teams within key channel partners • Perform several operational duties including entering part numbers, setting up purchasing processes
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be substituted. • Experience in small form factor computing preferred. • Program management experience with a level of discipline and a high level of organizational skills. • Experience working directly with customers through support or in communications with customers such as social media, public relations, journalism or marketing, including managing program metrics. • Experience with presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint. • Experience with analytical programs such as Google Analytics.
***WEBSITE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR***The Website Systems Administrator is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure and software utilized for the organization's websites (US and Global). This position monitors web traffic, performance and capacity to identify, prevent and resolve issues. This position will also architect, develop, and maintain a customer portal for the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: • Linux - Operates, upgrades, and configures systems in a Linux environment, primarily web servers. • Optimization - Conducts server performance analysis and tuning. Assists with the evaluation of new technologies to determine their effect on server infrastructure. Assistwith new technology deployments and system integration testing. Forecasts future needs, both software upgrades/installations and hardware upgrades. • Support - Provides support for website and database servers in Centos. Installs and configures active monitoring software. • System Administration - Creates and maintains programs for automating system administration. Monitors and maintains system security and provides backup, protection, and recovery support. • Troubleshooting - Helps analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems. Troubleshoots and repairs configuration problems and assists with troubleshooting network problems. • Development - Documents server support methods, procedures, and configuration. Assists with recommendations, specifications, and plans for server hardware and software purchases • Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline, or related field preferred but not required. Relevant work experience may be substituted. • At least five (5) years’ of progressive experience in development and implementation of web-based architecture and applications or related area • Extensive experience managing global websites. • At least three years of progressive experience with Linux Redhat Administration • Experience configuring and optimizing cloud-based networking, including load balancing, and CDNs • Experience with Nagios and CentOS preferred • Experience using MySQL for database management • Experience with website software developmentSimply NUC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
